As someone diagnosed with having extraversion I suffer the curse of attempting to scan every face that I walk past. Every. Single. Face. The face gets processed and, if not already recognized, it gets filed away in case I see it again later. I know that I'm doing this because even while traveling I have seen the same people over and over again... first as a face at the departure gate at JFK, then as the same face at a coffee shop in Bangkok two weeks later. This is easy to confirm with a simple conversation, of course, but I've learned the hard way that conversations like these need to be handled extremely delicately, especially when I'm right.
